    Beach front room in 'older' section with kitchenette. Had requested upper level, ended up with 1st floor with great view of pool.... NIce to have easy walk to beach, but forget sitting out on balcony - no privacy (literally looking down on folks sun bathing less than five feet away). Room was good, but feel the 'beach front premium' was not worth it. Older section is remodeled, but still 'dormish' feeling. Being right on beach is great though - and the key. Lazy River is well shaded and heated - great for mid-day. Breakfast is across street at Magnolias (average buffet). Parking is FREE self-park in garage across street (less than block away). Things to note... reservation does not state, but hotel sends you follow up email stating that the one night reservation fee is non-refundable. The $* fee covers an in-room safe. Sliding glass doors were old aluminum and a bit rickety. AC was cold and nice. Guest laundry (for rooms without w/d) was limited (3 washers, 2 dryers) on 3rd floor of old building. 3rd floor of old building had a funky smell when I was there. Small game room on 3rd floor (old video games...). Overall - location is nice. Wish it were walking distance to more things, but comparable to other places. Upkeep of hotel was above average of those in area. Staff was helpful, room was clean, beach was right there. So.... bummed at my room floor location, but aside from that, good stay.

    I will Never stay there again. I thought I was paying for oceanfront and I got what looked like a view of an ally. The rooms were not that clean. No kitchen. The microwave was old and the air conditioner would not work right. I avoided staying in the room as much as possible. In the bathroom, the tissue holder fell on me and the patio could barely fir 2 chairs on it. Maybe great for a frat student or high school student but not a mother and daughter wanting r & r.

    We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The only thing good I can say was the view of the beach. Parking was insufficient, elevators were extremely slow, the staircase smelled of urine! There is only 1 ice machine for 10 floors of guests and it was always empty. On the 1st day we had to have the TV replaced because the picture was snowy. On the 2nd day we had to have the electronic door lock replaced because it stopped working. The coupons for the breakfast buffet we received upon arrival weren

    My brother and I took a much needed vacation and chose this hotel out of the rest. It turned out to be the Best. The staff, hotel, amenities and view were just unbeatable, by even the price alone. We had a great time and we felt safe and secure. Everything was safe and clean. We are planning another trip to the same area at the same hotel. Great job to all. I recommend this hotel to anyone. You met and exceeded our standards. Wow !!!!!

    Clean and quiet place to vacation with great ocean front accomadations at reasonable prices. Within walking distance to several good restuarants. Will not put up with noise at night which is great when you want peace and quiet. Staff could have been a little more friendly especially at check-in. Did not make you feel welcome as some hotels we have stayed at. But overall we were very satisfied. We have stayed here twice and would stay again without any hesitation.
