We attended a convention at the Duke Energy Center and this was a 15 minute walk. The hotel was formerly a Ramada Inn and seriously needs an overhaul. The bathrooms were dirty, the beds smelled, the pool was out of order, the ice machine and soda machine on our floor were broken. The staff was nice though and there were lots of places in walking distance to eat at. Considering we didn't have a lot of money, it was nice staying here. But if I could afford it, I would have stayed somewhere else.

I stayed there for a Bengals game. Great location and price if you want to do that. Be sure to aks for a non-smoking room when you book it. I didn't and they gave me a smoking room when I booked it online. Didn't matter as I couldn't really smell any cigarette smoke. Had to walk a mile to get to the bus stop for the TANK shuttle to the airport so it's great if you're on a budget.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean, though not terribly well maintained. I enjoyed my mile-long walks to the hotel in which my conference was being held. However, walking back to the Ramada/Quality Inn in the evening, as it was getting dark, wasn't always a comfortable experience.

Good location to highways & downtown, hot breakfast with eggs & sausage. We also had a king size bed which came with a equally big room & good AC. Also had a new shower head with good pressure & I did not have problems with the temp of the water. However, there was no working ice machine on the first five floors. The pool got no sunlight & was freezing cold. Wallpaper & paint was coming off the walls in the bathroom. I found hair in the shower & ice container & the carpet had patches cut out of it as if they had to replace small pieces. Carpet & in the halls & tile in th elevator was dirty. Over all the hotel could stand to be remodeled.

The carpet in our room was wet. The bathroom was dirty my mother did not even bother showering because the tub was so filthy and boy was it small. The water had only one temperature. Scalding. Apparently the hotel restaurant was supposed to open at 7:00, it was just opening when we left at 8:00.
The service was good though and the beds were comfortable.
