    A beautifully renovated downtown hotel. because this is a historic building, it had a lot of character, as well as great rooms, comfortable beds, excellent service and a good restaurant.

    We arrived during the celebration of "A Taste of Cincinnati" so I'm sure that disrupted things. We couldn't find parking for our auto and if you don't use the valet service of the hotel, you are out of luck. In checking in I was warned about losing my "special made key" and it would cost me $* and if I smoked in my no smoking room the penalty would be $*. I viewed those warnings as negatives. The hotel folks were nice and the restaurant downstairs was good. The hotel has seen better days and there were small problems with the plumbing and a faucet that couldn't be turned off completely. The noise from the celebration went on until late evening. I think I would try another location next time.

    My husband and i stayed for two days, our experience was wonderful. It is a beautiful hotel. Booking with travelocity we received an excellent price. From the time we checked in until we checked out we were treated with excellent care, we had brought with us some left over food from our favorite restaurant, with no fridge in our room they offered to keep in it the hotel kitchen until we wanted it. The happy hour time and prices with quality of items was one of the best we have experienced. As a woman i loved the size of our bathroom, very spacious with a long counter and two sinks, the only thing i would change would be the lighting at the mirror. It was a little dark and hard to see when putting on make-up, i like a bright bathroom. Over all i highly recommend the hotel and would stay over and over again!
